The Highlands

First I needed a ferry ticket

to visit UK by car.

I booked a DFDS-Seaways ticket.

The ferry "Prince of Scandinavia"

changes between Amsterdam
and Newcastle.

Then I needed a new "hair-style". From Newcastle my next destination was Kinghorn, that lies north of Edinburgh. There I found Hide & Sleek,

a fantastic dressing and make-up service.

To find the best and shortest way

I used the service from

Multimap and Streetmap.

My next destination was the city Glasgow,

wich is a great city.

There i visited the LGBT-Center in the Dixon Street

Best exit to leave the highway is number 19.

LGBT stands for Lesbian, Gay,

Bi und Transgernder.

There are nice and lovely people

And they have a warmly bar.

If you ask you can change your dress in the first floor.

So, here I am. I am standing in front
of the infomation board.

There are lots of informations about events und meetings.

Because many people have
own problems I don't have made photos in the bar.

After that I desperate have tryed to come on the
highway in easy way,
but it was a whole experience.
You come to the Highlands when you take the highway exit number 19 and enter the A82.
So it's a great feeling when you hear honks, wow.

I found a smooth parking area near Tarbet.

for my mobilhome.

The destinations for the next days are
the Highlands, Skye and Ullapool.

Hey, do you know that I am a real nice one?

We are in the Highlands, where else!

We are running down the hills

The sun is shining, it is not cold.

I'm now at the ruins of
Glen Fiag. You can feel
the scotish history.

Here you have an overview of the first part of my journey. Clicks on the map to see the large opinion. I could not start to the places Dennis&Sheila Bed&Breakfast in Ardersier as well as the TV bar in Edinburg for temporal reasons. They are however now described exactly.

Dennis&Sheila:

In Ardersier is a Bed&Breakfast.

Best for trannies for accommodate.

When you send a email to

dennis.mccrudden@tesco.net

Dennis sends back more infomations.

The TV bar in Edinburgh:
The TV bar in the Broughton Street only open once in the month. Who visits Scotland in the wrong week, pitch had. Further information receive you here:
